Children love to create visual art. Students at St. Anne School learn about the basic and advanced elements and concepts used in visual media: color and line, shape and texture, harmony and contrast, and so forth. Students apply these concepts across a variety of projects. Arts instruction also builds foundational knowledge about art history and criticism, techniques, and aesthetics.
Students participate in weekly art class.
The Music program at St. Anne Catholic School consists of:
The music program compliments the student's academic development, provides spiritual nurturing, enrichment, growth and healing. It teaches appreciation of rich liturgical music, instruction on a music instrument, a recorder which impacts hand/brain coordination in an ensemble setting. Students learn to read and write music, and are prepared to join the high school music program of their choice.
Students have multiple opportunities to display their music talents through concerts offered throughout the year. Our students are also able to perform their musical talents and instruments during weekly Mass.
